Anna Mae Laskowsky
Anne Mae Laskowsky, 84, of Evans City, formerly of Morann, died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 6, 1922, in Smithmill, she was the daughter of Wasco and Kathryn Kost Warholic
She was a member of the St. Barbara's National Catholic Church.
She retired from Sylvania after 21 years of employment.
Mrs. Laskowsky is survived by a son, Richard Laskowsky and his wife, Linda, of Evans City; a daughter, Betty Martin and her husband, Thomas, of Dothan, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Craig, Stephen, and Jordan Laskowsky of Evans City, Chris Laskowsky of Volant, Thomas Martin of Morann, Jeffery Martin of Dothan, Ala., and Melissa Greenawalt and Debbie Martin, both of Tallahassee, Fla.; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Slipko of Ambridge and Stella Horton of Stanford, Conn.
She married Kostack Laskowsky on Aug. 2, 1941, and he died in 1967.
She also was preceded in death by a son, John; three brothers, Metro, Mike, and Frank; and a sister, Helen.
<B>Laskowsky</B> — Friends of Anna Mae Laskowsky, who died Monday, Sept 17, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the <B>Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home</B>, 200 David St., Houtzdale. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ramzi Musallam officiating. Burial will be in St.Barbara's Cemetery. Rev. Ramzi will hold a Christian Wake Service at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
