1:54 a.m. today — John Lee McEvoy, 37, of Evans City was arrested for driving under the influence on Race Street. Police said McEvoy was also cited for driving the wrong way on a one-way street.11:40 a.m. Wednesday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Leland Reddick, 76, of Center Township and a pickup truck driven by Jessica Waddington, 20, of Butler Township collided at South Main and Campbell streets.Waddington was treated for moderate injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital. Police said Reddick was cited for making an illegal U-turn.Wednesday — Police reported two Butler men are accused of knocking over three parking meters on North Washington Street last week. Cited for criminal mischief are James Blackwell, 19, and Leonard Zawojski III, 27.The city's street department estimated damage in the vandalism at $76.1:57 a.m. Tuesday — Jason Redenbach, 24, of Butler was arrested for DUI on Filmore Street. Police said Redenbach also was cited for driving with a suspended license, careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:45 a.m. Wednesday — Roger Hitchcook, 57, of Butler was injured apparently in a two-vehicle crash in the area of the Buttercup Campground in Connoquenessing Township. Police did not provide details of the accident. Hitchcock was treated for undisclosed injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.

8:20 a.m. Wednesday — A17-year-old Rimersburg boy was uninjured after the car he was driving struck an embankment before hitting two trees and rolling over at least once on Traister Road near Route 68 in Madison Township, Clarion County. Police said the boy, who they did not identify, was wearing a seat belt. He faces a traffic citation for driving too fast for conditions.

11:15 p.m. Wednesday — Amanda Critchlow, 22, of Harrisville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car struck an embankment on Old Route 8 in Sandy Creek Township. Amber Knight, 23, of Slippery Rock, a passenger in Critchlow's car, was treated for minor injuries at UPMCNorthwest in

Tuesday — Police are investigating the theft of $15,000 in copper grounding conduits from three communications towers near the Venango-Butler County line. The thefts occurred between June and Tuesday.The cell towers, which are in Allegheny Township in Butler County and Scrubgrass and Clinton townships in Venango County, belong to Cingular Wireless, Crown Castle USA.

3:04 p.m. Monday — Someone stole a 5-horsepower Briggs and Stratton motor from an oil well pumping jack behind St. Mary's Cemetery in Bradys Bend Township. Robert Wyant and Judy McCrea, both of Fenelton, own the property, valued at $200.

8 a.m. Wednesday — Two injuries were reported when a car driven by a 17-year-old Jackson Center girl struck a ditch and utility pole along Glenn School Road near Dean Road in Sandy Lake Township.The girl, who police did not identify, and Michael Behe Jr., 18, of Utica, Venango County, a passenger, were treated for minor to moderate injuries at Grove City Medical Center.4:30 a.m. Wednesday — Avehicle was reported stolen from the Barkeyville Road home of David Jewell in Grove City. Police said the vehicle, which they did not identify, was recovered a short time after the theft.
