Lillian M. Lawrence, 95, of Evans City died Friday at Ellwood City Hospital.

Born March 23, 1912, in Harmony, she was the daughter of Albert F. and Anna Marie (Gettman) Scheidemantel.

Mrs. Lawrence was an active member of Grace Church of Harmony, where she attended for 92 years and was a member of the Joy Bell Class at the church.

She was also a member of the Fombell Hobby Club and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, gardening and flowers.

She was a homemaker and worked at the Zelienople Restaurant. Recently, she was a resident of Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.

She is survived by two sons, Richard L. Jones and his wife, Nola, and Jerry D. Lawrence all of Evans City; five grandchildren, Rick and Dan Jones, Julie Buchanan, and Jason and Jacob Lawrence; nine great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lawrence, who died Nov. 8, 1987; two brothers, Russell and Lloyd Scheidemantel, and a sister, Mary McConahy.

<B>Lawrence</B> — Friends of Lillian M. Lawrence, who died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter J. Everett, her church pastor, officiating.
