CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:
Robert Beranty, 37, of Worthington, Armstrong County, waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed July 10.
Richard Birckbichler, 62, of Evans City waived to court charges of accidents involving injury, driving an unregistered and uninspected vehicle, driving with a suspended license, failing to comply with license restrictions, violation of inspection sticker, careless driving, and a stop sign violation, filed June 21.
Steven Cozad, 48, of Harrisville was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, careless driving, depositing waste on the highway, an open container violation and not wearing a seat belt, filed Aug. 20.
Anthony J. Doyle, 18, of Saxonburg waived to court a charge of corruption of minors, filed Oct. 4.
Karin Reges, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed Aug. 15.
Karl Shankle Jr., 25, of Karns City pleaded guilty to a charge of theft, filed Aug. 20. Shankle was ordered to pay $1,965 in restitution, fines and court costs.
Corinne A. Thomas, 45, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, failure to keep right, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed June 6.
EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Thomas Edward Green of Mars waived to court charges of driving under the influence-incompetent of driving safely, driving under the influence-high rate of alcohol and period of requiring lighted lamps, filed Sept. 4 by Adams Township police.Matthew Gant Kriley of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection, filed Sept. 4 by Jackson Township police. BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Toni Chavis, 50, of Lyndora waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed Aug. 31 by Butler Township police.Cody Alan Druschel, 20, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed Aug. 30 by Butler Township police. He was ordered to pay $1,240 in fines and court costs.James Harold Evans, 48, of Port Charlotte, Fla., waived to court charges of driving under the influence, criminal trespass, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, driving while operating privilege is suspended and one-way roads, filed Sept. 19 by Butler Township police.David Spero Keffalas, 55, of Renfrew was held for court on charges of resisting arrest, criminal trespass and stalking, filed Sept. 24 by Butler Township police.Bryan P. Michael, 31, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed Aug. 30 by Butler Township police. He was ordered to pay $440 in fines and court costs.Shane Andrew McCommon, 19, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, purchase-consumption-possession and/or transportation of alcohol and maximum speed limits, filed Aug. 20 by Butler Township police.Thaddeus J.
