Cook 50th anniversary
Lee and Barbara Cook of Hilliards celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with an open house at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in West Sunbury.
The former Barbara Birckbichler married Cook Sept. 28, 1957, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.
They have four children, Donald Cook of Hilliards, Mark Cook of West Virginia, Beverly McBride of Clintonville and Robert Cook of Grove City. A foster daughter, Jenny Siford, resides in West Virginia.
They also have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Cook is retired from Mercer Lime and Stone. He delivers Meals on Wheels from St. Louis Roman Catholic Church.Mrs. Cook currently works outside the home. She is a volunteer at Grove City Medical Center.The couple belongs to St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, where Mrs. Cook is a member of the Ladies Guild and Church Council.
