Oma M. Mast
Oma M. Mast, 100, of Outlook Pointe Nursing Center in Saxonburg, and formerly of Sugarcreek, Ohio, Butler and Florida, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing center.
Born May 27, 1907, in Troyer Valley, Ohio, (Farmerstown) she was a daughter of William C. and Ida (Alpeter) Yakley Olinger.
Mrs. Mast was a homemaker and worked for Hickory Farms in Pompano Beach, Fla., for 23 years.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ at Sugarcreek.
Surviving are a son, William W. (Dorothy) Mast of Ashland, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Winkler of Saxonburg; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Messina of Delray Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Pearl Miller of Yucca Valley, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Mast, who died Sept. 20, 1982; two sisters; and two brothers.
<B>Mast</B> — The life of Oma M. Mast, who died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday with a graveside service in East Lawn Cemetery, Sugarcreek, Ohio. The Rev. Dr. Carlan Helgeson will officiate. Following the services, a reception and luncheon will be held in the social hall at First United Church of Christ, Sugarcreek.
