Hazel M. Stiefel, 90, of Harmony, formerly of Fombell, died Wednesday evening at Evergreen Nursing Center.

She was born in Ellwood City, June 29, 1917, to Bentel R. Stiefel, who died in 1985, and Lizzie Jane Hanna Stiefel, who died in 1967.

Miss Stiefel enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and caring for her family.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, niece, nephew and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

As the last of her family, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward B. Stiefel; and two sisters, Effie M. Stiefel and Carrie E. Dorow.

<B>Stiefel</B> — Friends of Hazel M.Stiefel, who died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at <B>TURNERFUNERALHOME</B>, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, Ellwood City. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Charles, pastor of Portersville Bible Church, officiating.
