Elizabeth DeCenzo
Elizabeth "Betty"Ross DeCenzo, 73, of Miami, Fla., died at 1:05 p.m. Monday of cardiac arrest.
Born in Butler, June 7, 1934, she was the daughter of Richard and Mary Heinz Ross.
She was a 1952 alumna of Butler High School and completed nurses training at St. John's Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She lived in Miami since 1961 and was the head charge of the emergency surgical floor, and she helped pilot and was the head nurse of the diabetes treatment floor at Doctors Hospital, Miami.
Surviving are her children, Diane Bello, Ralph DeCenzo, Lisa Pasalodos (Omar M. Pasalodos, M.D.), Lori Murray (Jay Murray) and Rosemary Beyert (Robert Beyert); nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Jane Bujak of Mantua, Ohio, and Nell Brookes of Butler.
A brother preceded her in death.
<B>DECENZO</B> — A memorial service for Elizabeth "Betty"Ross DeCenzo, who died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church, 7270 SW 120th St., Miami.
