Monday — Ronald Rearick was arrested on an outstanding warrant for an unspecified charge at a North Main Street apartment above Miller's Meats. He was jailed in Butler County Prison.8:06 p.m. Sept. 17 — A white Chevrolet Cavalier with an unknown driver struck a parked car owned by Hal Gallithen of Mars on Eighth Avenue.

3:03 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jessi Fiello of Ellwood City and a car driven by Stephen Willets of Fenelton collided on Belmont Road. Willets was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of back pain. Fiello was taken to the hospital to be examined.

11:20 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Jacob Anna, 18, of Slippery Rock hit a telephone pole off Tieline Road in Mercer Township. Anna and his two passengers, a 17-year-old Slippery Rock male and a 17-year-old Harrisville male, were taken by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. The pole was sheared. The Pine Township Volunteer Fire department of Mercer County assisted at the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.Friday — Someone stole several items from Bryan Hartman's property at 1168 Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. Friday. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.1:55 a.m. Friday — Cory Jones, 19, of Valencia was charged with driving under the influence and not driving at a safe speed after her van hit two trees along Sandy Hill Road in Middlesex Township. No injuries were reported.
