Chris Clark carried 22 times for 145 yards and a touchdown Friday night as the Grove City High football team shut out Hickory 14-0.

Clark scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter to wrap up the win for the Eagles (4-1, 2-1). Mike Burk's 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the game's only score through three quarters.

Grove City's defense limited Hickory to 95 total yards.

Apollo-Ridge 35, A-C Valley 0 — Derek Bandurak rushed for 90 yards and three touchdowns for Apollo-Ridge. He scored his team's first three TDs of the night on runs of 1, 47 and 4 yards.Mike Himes led the winless Falcons' offense with 53 yards on 12 carries. Apollo-Ridge (2-3) rushed for 341 yards as a team.

Butler's junior varsity defeated Fox Chapel 4-1 for its third win in four matches. Katie Straub and Markie Harrison won singles matches for the Golden Tornado.Butler received doubles victories from Shannon Gallagher and Cassie Houk, along with Laurissa Carpenter and Anna Jeffries.
