Toubakaris, Lozier
Christina Toubakaris and Kevin Lozier, both of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 10 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in St. Thomas. The Rev. John Mark officiated. A reception followed at the St. Peter Great House and Botanical Gardens in St. Thomas.
The bride is the daughter of Nicholas and Carole Toubakaris of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Rick and Cheryl Lozier of New Orleans.
The honor attendant was Jennifer Scimone of West Chester. Bridesmaids included Megghan Janota of Pittsburgh; Amy Roberts of Richmond, Va.; Hannah Greeley of Alexandria, Va.; Laurie Kaplan of Atlanta; and Monique Albarado of Alexandria, La. The flower girl was Samantha Barefield of Orangestead, Aruba.
Performing the duties of best man was Richard Lozier II of Destrehan, La. Ushers included Joseph Albarado of Alexandria, La.; Jeremy Villere of Lafayette, La.; Kendal Brunet of Houma, La.; Kenneth Williams of Clarksville, Tenn.; Vincent Bredickas of Marietta, Ga.; Mark Gaurino of Riverview, Fla.; and Michael Toubakaris of Butler. Michael Steinschulte of Orlando, Fla., served as the ring bearer.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Butler High School, a 2000 graduate of Penn State University and a 2006 graduate of Kaplan University, where she received a master's degree. She is employed at Hilton-Olshan Hotel Management in Marco Island, Fla.
The bridegroom graduated from 1993 from Archbishop Shaw High School and in 2002 from Louisiana State University. He works for the Marriott Vacation Club in Orlando.
Following a honeymoon trip to Athens and Santourini, Greece, and Madrid, Spain, the couple is making their home in Marco Island, Fla.
