Raymond and Nancy Knox

Raymond and Nancy Knox of Callery celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a picnic at their home given by their children.

The former Nancy Makosey married Knox Aug. 16, 1957, at Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars.

They have three children, Mike Knox of Evans City, Bob Knox of Prospect and Lisa Rape of Callery.

They also have four grandchildren.

Knox is retired from Mars National Bank. He belongs to the John E. Mair Lodge 729, Syria Shrine and the Scottish Rite of Pittsburgh.Mrs. Knox is the former secretary of Old Union Presbyterian Church.The couple belongs to Old Union Presbyterian Church. They both deliver meals for Southwest Butler County Meals on Wheels.
