Roseanna Texter Karenbauer, 58, of Butler, formerly of Eau Claire, died Thursday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Eau Claire, Aug. 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Franklin and Zethina Rose Wilson Texter.

She was a 1968 graduate of Moniteau High School and graduated from the Doctors' Assistant School in Washington, D.C.

She worked more than 20 years as a nurse's aide at Sunnyview Home and also had done babysitting in the Chicora area for years.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, camping and crocheting.

She was an active member of the Free Methodist Church/New Beginnings on Center Avenue.

Surviving are a son, Marshall W. Karenbauer and his wife, Angie, of Butler, with whom she made her home; three grandsons, Chris, Eric and Patrick Karenbauer, all of Butler; two sisters, Patsy A. Greenert and her husband, Clarence, and Elaine Shook and her husband, David, all of Eau Claire; two brothers, Harvey Texter and his wife, Mary, of Franklin Township and Eugene Texter and his wife, Denise Sue, of Alaska; and a number of nieces and nephews.
