Jeffrey and Janet Bastin

Cabot residents Janet Hankey and Jeffrey Bastin were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Aug. 18 at their home. The Rev. Martin Kuchma officiated. A reception followed at the couple's home.

The bride is the daughter of Carolyn Embroski of Butler and the late Joseph Embroski. Parents of the bridegroom are August and Phyllis Bastin of Saxonburg.

Bridesmaids included the bride's daughters, Brianne Hankey of Prospect and Lindsay Hankey of Charlotte, N.C.

Serving his son as best man was August Bastin of Saxonburg.

The bride is a 1977 graduate of Butler High School. She works for the County of Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1979 from Knoch High School. He works for Indspec Chemical in Petrolia.

The couple is making their home in Cabot.
