Mabel Morrow Miller, 100, of Beaver died the evening of Aug. 10 at the Villa St. Joseph, Baden.

Born Feb. 16, 1907, in Richland Township, she was a daughter of James K. and Carrie Logan Morrow and had been a resident of Beaver most of her life.

She devoted her life to teaching. She taught for more than 40 years and retired in 1969 as a teacher in the Beaver School District.

Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Mars High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education.

She was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church, Beaver. She was an active volunteer with numerous organizations, where she was well known for the time she devoted to helping others. She also was proud to be a charter member of the Crimson Line Auxiliary of the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center.

Her husband, Ralph C. Miller, to whom she was married for nearly 61 years, died April 1, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her 10 siblings.

She is survived by a large family of devoted nieces, nephews and their children. She also leaves behind many others who she thoughtfully touched throughout her church and community.

<B>MILLER </B>— A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mabel Morrow Miller, who died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Park Presbyterian Church with her beloved pastor, the Rev. William Teague, officiating. A pie social will follow. Private entombment will take place at the Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Park Presbyterian Church, 275 Commerce St., Beaver, PA 15009.
