Shirley and Robert Edwards Jr.

Robert Jr. and Shirley Edwards of Valencia celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Hardwood Café in Penn Township.

The former Shirley Dengler married Edwards Aug. 10, 1957, at Gibsonia Presbyterian Church in Gibsonia.

They have four children, Timothy Edwards of Clinton Township; Susan Gillen and James Edwards, both of Middlesex Township; and Scott Edwards of Saxonburg. Adaughter, Deborah Edwards, is deceased.

They also have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Edwards is retired from Wagner's Market in Bakerstown.

Mrs. Edwards is also retired. She was employed at Conquest Operator Service in Butler and the North Pittsburgh Telephone Company in Gibsonia.
