Grace M. White, 81, of the Kittanning Care Center in Manor Township, Armstrong County, formerly of Franklin and East Brady, died Sunday at the care center.

Born June 14, 1926, in Richland Township, Venango County, she was the daughter of William E. and Gertrude McCall Donaldson.

She was a 1944 graduate East Brady High School, worked in the dietary department at Polk Hospital, and had been a sales clerk at Shaw's Shoe Store and Murphy's 5 & 10.

Mrs. White and her family enjoyed their cottage on Goose Creek at Chautauqua Lake, N.Y. She also enjoyed doing crafts, jitterbugging, flea markets and garage sales. She was always the life of the party, and will be greatly missed by her family.

She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Bradys Bend Township.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph E. (Diane) Hall III of Howard, Ohio, and Ms. Pamela S. White and her companion, Gary Plowman, of East Brady; a brother, William E. Donaldson (Mary) of East Brady; a sister, Lenora Satterlee of Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County; and three grandsons, Thomas and Justin Heffernan, both of Franklin, and Ralph E. Hall IV of Florida.

Her husband, Richard E. White, whom she married Sept. 6, 1947, died in 1989. She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph R. Hall; two sisters, Ruth A. Mellish and Mary Evelyn Ruth; and a special friend, Richard Silvis.
