Gabriel Silverman, founder of the Student Alliance for Healthcare Reform, will be the keynote speaker at a forum from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29 in the Butler County Family YMCA, 120 W. Cunningham St.

The Butler County Democrats for Change, also known as D-PAC, is sponsoring the forum, which deals with a universal single-payer health care plan.

The event will include brief testimonies from those who have experienced the shortcomings of the current health care system.

The forum is free and includes a light lunch. Due to limited space, reservations are required.
