Gladd, Hankey
Butler residents Megan Gladd and Philip Hankey were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 9 at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler. The Rev. Alan Towberman officiated. A reception followed at the Vagabond Center in Lyndora.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Marci Gladd of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Donald and Karen Hankey of East Butler.
The maid of honor was Kristina Snyder of Butler. Bridesmaids included Ashley Anglum, Erika Gallagher and Tori Snyder, all of Butler; Tracy Hankey of Auburn, N.Y.; and Val Reed of Evans City. The flower girl was Jenna Schall of Grove City.
Performing the duties of best man was Christopher Rodgers of Butler. Ushers included Aaron Hertzog of Slippery Rock; Chad Gladd and Paul Gladd, both of Butler; Derrick Dengel of Ellwood City; and Andrew Green of Evans City. The ring bearer was Dustin Hertzog of Slippery Rock.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works at the Verizon Wireless Call Center in Cranberry Township.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Butler High School and in 2000 from Pittsburgh Technical Institute. He works for II-VI in Saxonburg.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Butler.
