Raymond Martin
Raymond Kenneth Martin, 83, of Hovis Road, Harrisville, died Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a sudden illness.
Born May 14, 1924, in Clintonville he was the son of James Austin Martin and Alma Bell Martin.
Mr. Martin was educated in the Clintonville High School and worked in the oil fields in southern Venango County and northern Butler County. He also was employed by a construction union out of Butler.
He enjoyed hunting and trapping.
Surviving are two brothers, Edwin Martin of Beaver Falls and Eugene Martin and his wife, Helen, of Grove City; and several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by nine brothers, Harvey Ron, Harry, Glenn, Harvey, Clarence, Frederick, John Lewis, Clifford Wayne and Earl Martin and infant brother Robert Martin.
<B>MARTIN </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Raymond Kenneth Martin, who died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the <B>Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Patterson, a retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be at the East Unity Cemetery.
