Walter Klemzak, 96, of Buffalo Township died Tuesday at the Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg.

Born July 14, 1911, in Denmark, he was the son of Walenty and Mary Jean Sampson Klemzak.

He retired in 1972 from Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge, after 40 years. He also had owned the Klemzak Flower Sarver Ceramics in Buffalo Township.

Mr. Klemzak was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, photography, reading and traveling.

Surviving are four daughters, Lorraine Klemzak of Buffalo Township, Mary Elizabeth Smith of North Carolina and Geraldine (Thomas) Krzeminski and Eileen Klemzak, both of Natrona Heights; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his daughter-in-law, Carol Klemzak of Natrona Heights.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Karpinski Klemzak, who died in 1983; a son Robert Klemzak; brothers, Leo, Edward, Richard and Henry Klemzak; and sisters, Florence Shurina, Regina Gastman and Genevieve Klemzak.

<B>KLEMZAK </B>— Friends of Walter Klemzak, who died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home</B>, 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights. A blessing service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home; and a Mass of Christian burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. Richard Tusky as celebrant. Burial will be at Mt.
