Adda B. McDonald, 67, of Butler died at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 11, 1940, in New Salem, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Crawford Helmick.

She was a member of Oak Hills Christian Church.

Mrs. McDonald was a food monitor for the Butler School District and was a volunteer grandma for the Butler County Head Start for many years.

Surviving are her husband, Earl L. McDonald, whom she married Sept. 16, 1961; a daughter, Mrs. Eric (Diedra L.) Graham of Butler; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Darlene McDonald, Brian McDonald and Shawn and Karen McDonald, all of Butler; and 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Marlene Somogy of Butler; and two brothers, Charles Helmick of Cleveland and Donald Helmick.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

<B>MCDONALD </B>— Friends of Adda B. McDonald, who died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Phillip Conyers, officiating.
