GIBSONIA — Apig roast will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 30 at St. Thomas Church-in-the-Fields, 4106 St. Thomas Drive.

Donations of used books, videos, tapes, CDs and DVDs will be collected Sunday through Sept. 22 for the American Association of University Women's annual book sale.Donations can be dropped off at Friedman's locations on Brady Street in Butler and the Greater Butler Mart and Point Plaza, both in Butler Township.Books will also be accepted at the Butler Public Library and the Clearview Mall and Moraine Pointe Plaza Giant Eagle stores.Encyclopedias, textbooks and magazines will not be accepted.The sale will be held Sept. 28 to 30 at the Clearview Mall.
