Dolores L. Tichansky, 73, of Buena Vista in Fairview Township died at 1:13 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born in Pittsburgh, Nov. 30, 1933, she was the daughter of Michael and Helen Laskowski Brula.

She had been a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in Pittsburgh for several years.

Her husband, Basil T. "Ozzie" Tichansky, whom she married July 30, 1955, died July 29, 2007.

Surviving are two sons, Gary and Ted Tichansky, both of Chicora; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Michael Brula of Chicora.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

<B>TICHANSKY</B>—<B> </B>Friends of Dolores L. Tichansky, who died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. Blessing services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky, pastor of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, officiating. Burial will be at the Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
