Mary Goehring

Mary "Peggy" Goehring, 88, of Butler, formerly of Prospect, died Friday at Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony.

Born Nov. 27, 1918, in Evans City, she was the daughter of George A. and Birdie (Pfeifer) Larkin.

She was a devout Christian who enjoyed oil painting, playing the piano and studying the Bible.

Surviving are three daughters, Anita Hepler of Evans City, Rose Young and her husband, Robert, of Evans City and Debbie Fletcher and her husband, James, of Butler; a son, Robert L. Goehring and his wife, Peggy, of Evans City; a sister, Esther Waldron of Zelienople; a brother, James Larkin of Evans City; and eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Goehring; a son, Phillip Goehring; four brothers; and two sisters.

<B>GOEHRING — </B>Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main Street, Evans City. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Brown, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Prospect, officiating.
