He was there when we didn't understand.

He was there when we cried

He was there when we were wrong.

He was there when we lied.

Dad was always there.

Dad was always there, when we needed him the most.

Now that he's gone there is emptiness in our world, but not in our hearts.

When our father died, we moved into the empty space he left inside us, we found out it was where we belonged. It is a new place to grow.

To the man we call, Bill, Dad and Pap-Pap, we all look forward to seeing you again. And till that happy occasion we wish you God Speed and may God bless you and mom and keep you both in his care. I am certain you continue in your role as a mentor and teacher in the next life, using your time and talents to their fullest as you did here on earth as a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and example to us all.
