Fort, DeMatteis
Slippery Rock residents Angela Fort and Matthew DeMatteis were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. June 16 at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in West Sunbury. The Rev. Richard Thompson officiated. The reception followed at the Vagabond Center in Lyndora.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Diane Fort of West Sunbury. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Christine DeMatteis of Boyers.
The maids of honor were Shannon Fort of Butler and Karie Kohlmeyer of Parker. Bridesmaids included Natalie DeMatteis of Boyers; Jen Beachem of West Sunbury; Justine Murphy of Columbus, Ohio; and Karli Bulisco of Alexandria, Va. The flower girl was Tia Andreassi of Butler.
Performing the duties of best men were Chad Plesakov of Slippery Rock and Patrick Donaldson of Tampa Bay, Fla. Groomsmen included Erik Fort of West Sunbury, Anthony Rossi of New Jersey, Scott Soltis of Kentucky, Clint Blatt of Butler and Dan Davis of Grove City.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Moniteau High School. She attended Slippery Rock University and is employed at the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.
The bridegroom also graduated in 2001 from Moniteau High School. He attended Robert Morris University and is employed at the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
