Jean and Art Michael

Art and Jean Michael of Chicora celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Springfield Grill in Adams Township.

The former Jean Hiles married Michael Aug. 16, 1947, at the United Presbyterian Church in Fairview.

They have three children, Dennis Michael of Chippewa Township, Richard Michael of West Sunbury and Carla Flick of Karns City.

They also have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Michael is retired after 47 years at Witco Chemical, where he worked as a lab technician.

Mrs. Michael is a homemaker.

Both are life members of the United Presbyterian Church in Fairview.
