Jack Lee Jones
Jack Lee Jones, 71, of Hillville, Armstrong County, formerly of Chicora Road, Chicora, died at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Butler, Nov, 10, 1935, he was a son of Andrew Edward and Mabel Rhodabaugh Jones.
He was a 1953 graduate of Butler High School and served as a radioman with the Marine Corps from 1954 to 1956 in Korea.
Mr. Jones retired from the store room at Indspec Chemical Co., Petrolia, where he worked from 1969 to 1997.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy T. Thom Jones, whom he married June 6, 1964, at Chicora United Methodist Church; two sons and their wives, Mark L. Jones and Kesia of Karns City and Donald Meyers and Teresa of Klamath Falls, Ore.; five grandchildren, Andrew Frederick Jones of Hillville, Jasmin and Samantha Meyers, Jasmin Manriquiz and Ginger Nooman; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Liars, who died in 1997; four sisters, and a brother.
