Ronald Paul Nevel

Ronald Paul Nevel, 54, of Clarion, formerly of Parker, died at 4:15 p.m. Sunday of injuries he sustained in an ATV accident near Clarion.

Born Dec. 17, 1952, in Butler, he was the son of Paul E. and Lillian Marie Phillips Nevel.

He was a Protestant.

Mr. Nevel was employed at Saylor's Farms near Clarion. Before that, he was a truck driver with the Texas Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and North American Van Lines.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Clarion and was a former social member of the VFW in Parker.

In addition to his parents of Parker, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Helene "Missy" Caton Nevel, whom he married Feb. 14, 2007; three sons, Ronald Paul Nevel Jr. at home, Michael Nevel of West Middlesex, Mercer County, and Steven Nevel and his wife, Jessica, of Harrisville; four grandchildren, Terra Jean, Steven David, Kaitlyn and Michael Nevel; his mother-in-law, Linda Zurcher and her husband, James, of Harrisville; his stepmother-in-law, Norma Caton of Cranberry Township; a brother, Bruce Nevel and his wife, Amy, of Harrisville; four sisters, Linda and Nancy Nevel, both of Butler, Lois Robinson and her husband, Gary, of Richmond, Ky., and Rita Thompson and her husband, Tim, of Saxonburg; and number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, James Caton, who died recently.

<B>NEVEL </B>— Friends of Ronald Paul Nevel, who died Sunday, July 29, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Clark of the Chapel on the Hill near Emlenton officiating.
