Grace Mae Fisher, 96, left her earthly body for her heavenly home at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at the St. John Specialty Care Center.

Born Aug. 7, 1910, in Altoona, she was the daughter of Jess and Bess Landis.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of Homeacre Chapel, where her son Dr. David Fisher is pastor and where she was a secretary for a number of years,

She is survived by two sons and their wives, David and Zelma Fisher of Butler and Charles and Edna Fisher of Lake Whales, Fla.; a daughter and her husband, Frances and Don Thornburg of Lady Lake, Fla.; three sisters, Elizabeth Park of Cambridge, Ohio, Hattie Guyer of Columbus, Ohio, and Margaret Toppen of Largo, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, whom she married June 27, 1928, preceded her to heaven Aug. 6, 1970.
