Knoch High School's majorettes on Sept. 8, 1969, frame the sign announcing the approaching game with rival Freeport. The majorettes marched with the band at halftime under the direction of John R. Gillespie. Members of the squad included Ginger Jenkins, Dianne Fritch, Pam McCall, Jenny Wilson, Carol Allison, assistant majorette Linda Simons, head majorette Barbara Bauer and Becky Bowers. The Knoch Knights opened their 2007 season at home Friday against Montour.
