12:39 p.m. Friday — Anthony E. Keihl, 27, of Butler was arrested for theft from a motor vehicle, public drunkenness and an outstanding warrant after police responded to a call about a man beating on the door at the apartment building at 411 Shore Street. Keihl admitted taking a wallet from the vehicle of Cindy Jerome the previous night. The wallet was not recovered.

3:35 p.m. Thursday — Shirley Spinneweber, 50, of Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs following a traffic stop on New Castle Road.

6:30 p.m. Friday — A minivan driven by Kelli Zawart, 29, of Sarver and a pickup truck driven by Jonathan Hardt, 26, of Allison Park collided at the intersection of Sunmine and Anderson roads in Clinton Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and received minor injuries. Zawart was taken by ambulance to Allegheny Valley Hospital for treatment. She was cited for a stop sign violation. Saxonburg Fire and Rescue and Saxonburg police assisted at the scene.1:16 a.m. Friday — Chad A. Zboran, 19, of Kittanning was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 8 in Center Township.11:50 a.m. Thursday — Todd A. Moore, 38, of Butler was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana after police responded to a domestic disturbance.Wednesday — Someone stole a beige Dodge Ram 1500 owned by Gary Boring of Valencia while it was parked at the Clearview Mall in Center Township between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. The truck's registration is YSK3348. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.
