Lydia Sinkevich, 70, formerly of Zelienople, died Friday afternoon at the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville.

Born Dec. 5, 1936, in Highfield, Butler Township, she was the daughter of Artem and Helena Rodak Sinkevich.

She was retired from the Sheltered Workshop of the P.A.R.C. in Butler, where she had worked for years in the workshop productions.

Her hobbies included making arts and craft items, but she enjoyed most spending time with her family and many friends.

She also formerly lived in Zelienople with the Bob and Sandy Tindall family.

She was a member of the St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Lyndora, and she had been an active member of the Community Care Connection of the Family Living program at the A.R.C. She also volunteered at the Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer and several senior centers.

Surviving are her brother, Frank Sinkevich of Butler, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

<B>SINKEVICH </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Lydia Sinkevich, who died Friday, July 20, 2007, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the <B>Geibel funeral home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph D. Wargo, pastor of the St. Andrew Orthodox Church, officiating.
