The Keystone Squares dance club will host free square dance lessons from 8 to 10 p.m. Sept. 12 and 19 at the YWCA, 120 W. Cunningham St.

Information will be available about membership to the club. No prior dance experience is required.

The dance department at Slippery Rock University will offer an 11-week series of Saturday dance classes beginning Sept 8.Classes are for children ages 3 to 12 and include creative dance, tap and jazz and hip-hop.Classes will meet in the McKay Education Building dance studio.Class size is limited. The event will feature an introduction to fall athletes, cheerleaders and the marching band. If weather is inclement, the event will be rescheduled for Aug. 30.<B>The Knoch High School Band Boosters Pie Festival</B> will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 at the high school stadium. The event will feature a performance by the marching band and an introduction to the varsity football team and cheerleading squad. ROCHESTER — Burry's Church, 1835 Route 68, will host a family festival from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.The event will include games and activities for children, a sing-along and food.
