6:51 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Laura Laskey, 18, of Prospect and a pickup truck driven by Richard Davanzati, 50, of Butler Township collided at South Main and Wayne streets. Mara Davanzati, 11, a passenger in the pickup, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.Wednesday — Michael Gayhart, 25, of Butler Township is accused of stealing about 25 compact discs from the Roosevelt Boulevard home of Robin Morabito. Gayhart is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.Tuesday — Several people were cited following a pair of related disturbances connected to an ongoing dispute.Officers were first called about 9:10 p.m. to a North Chestnut Street parking lot, and found the suspects in the lot or in vehicles. Police found one of the suspects, Richard Dufford Jr., 22, of Butler was wanted on a bench warrant.An officer searched Dufford and found him with two rocks of suspected crack cocaine. He was arrested and later taken to the Butler County Prison.Police, meanwhile, told the others to leave the parking lot, and to expect in the mail minor citations for disorderly conduct.But at 10:45 p.m., police got a second call, this time to the area of Memorial Park for an altercation involving the same people. Officers were told Derek Salmon, 39, of Braddock, Allegheny County, had driven by in a vehicle and pointed a gun at someone.Police charged Salmon with terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct and driving with a suspended license.Cited for disorderly conduct were Isaiah Hill, 23, of Butler; Justin LaChoppa, 21, no address given; and Grace Ann Taylor, 19, of Butler. Taylor also was cited for harassment.State Police, Butler2:40 a.m. Sunday — A parked car at Main Street and Hooker Road in Karns City was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle.Sunday — Several guns were stolen between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. in a burglary at the Holyoke Road home of Joseph Mackalica in Center Township.11:45 a.m. Saturday — One person was injured when a motorcycle crashed into a field along Route 58 in Venango Township.Police said Barbara Keim, no age or address given, a passenger on the cycle, was taken with unknown injuries to Grove City Medical Center; she was wearing a helmet. Dale Garlock, 75, of Chesterfield Ohio, who was driving the bike, was not injured; he also was wearing a helmet.Saturday — Vandals between 8 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Saturday ransacked a concession stand at Knoch High School in Jefferson Township. Police said soda was spilled and thrown throughout the stand, owned by the South Butler School District.The unknown suspects also damaged a refrigerator, and took candy and chips.10:55 p.m. Friday — Michael Kradel, 39, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck an embankment and rolled over along Grant Avenue near East Butler Road in East Butler.Kradel suffered minor injuries; Debra Koss, 52, of Butler, a passenger in the pickup, was treated at ACMH Hospital in Kittanning for moderate injuries.1:30 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Jordan Gray, 20, of Butler and Saber Horner, 17, of Mars collided at Route 68 and Constitution Avenue in Connoquenessing Township.1:30 a.m. Friday — Steven Cozad, 47, of Harrisville was arrested for suspicion of DUI on FairviewRoad in Fairview Township.Friday — Vandals Thursday or Friday set fire to six plastic booster signs at Slippery Rock High School on Keister Road in Slippery Rock Township. Aconcession stand also was spray-painted and the goalposts on the football field were knocked over, police said.10:15 p.m. Aug, 10 — James Vincent Young, 49, of Renfrew was arrested for DUI on Route 422 in Butler Township.

2:48 a.m. Sunday — John Fields, 50, of Rimersburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 in Rimersburg.

Seven men and two women face charges in connection with a drunken disturbance at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lock 5 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.The suspects, all from Allegheny County and between 21 and 25 years old, are accused of jumping off a boat while inside the lock, police said. When warned to stay on the boat, the individuals allegedly yelled obscenities at the lock operators.Police said the suspects will be cited for public drunkenness.

Saturday — Someone between midnight and 7:50 a.m. fired a gunshot at the front door of the Vanity Fair store at Prime Outlets, Springfield Township, Mercer County. Damage was estimated at $300.Friday — Dawn Meighan of Titusville told police that a Dell Inspiron laptop computer, valued at $1,330, was stolen between 4:30 and 9:45 p.m. from her sport utility vehicle parked at the Prime Outlets parking lot. The computer was in a brown leather carrying case.Wednesday — A brown purse was found at Route 58 and Irishtown Road in Pine Township, Mercer County, and turned in to police. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-662-6162.
