SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Heidi Ekas, 20, of Sarver waived to court a charge of hindering apprehension, filed Aug. 5 by Buffalo Township police.
Jeannetta L. Emmert, 29, of Saxonburg was held for court on charges of manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 17 by state police.
Brian J. Hammer, 21, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence and speeding, filed July 12 by Saxonburg police.
James R. Link, 33, of Gibsonia pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed July 16 by state police. Link was ordered to pay $803 in fines and court costs.
Quinn A. Lucero, 22, of Ford City was held for court on charges of theft by deception and bad checks, filed July 2 by Buffalo Township police.
Jeremy M. Pennington, 30, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of theft by deception and bad checks, filed July 27 by Saxonburg police. Pennington was ordered to pay $510.72 in fines and court costs.
Andrew W. Sadowski, 19, of Sarver waived to court three counts of bad checks in separate cases filed July 2 and 30 and Aug. 6 by Buffalo Township police.
Dennis R. Schuller, 57, of Cabot waived to court a charge of careless driving, filed July 26 by Buffalo Township police.
Raymond E. Wyant Jr., 29, of Kittanning waived to court a charge of DUI, filed July 23 by Buffalo Township police.

Curnayn, 66, of Butler was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, careless driving, a lane violation and not wearing a seat belt, filed April 19 by state police.Jeremy W. Curtis, 24, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving too fast for conditions and a lane violation, filed June 6 by state police.Christopher L. Edwards, 27, of Bruin waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed July 23 by Butler Township police.Heather R. Finucan, 27, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed May 7 by Butler Township police. Finucan was ordered to pay $395 in fines and court costs.Corry A. Patterson was ordered to pay $495 in fines and court costs.Edward E. Scott Jr., 27, of Butler waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed July 11 Butler Township police.Eric M. Senge, 31, of Butler was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, filed April 26 by Butler Township police.Brandon Lee Sovachka, 34, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving and a lane violation, filed June 27 by state police.
CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Danny Gahagan Jr., 36, of Worthington, Armstrong County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, failure to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed June 27.Matthew Senopole, 21, of Butler was held for court on charges of charged with aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, accidents involving personal injury while not properly licensed, DUI, driving too fast for conditions, driving an unregistered vehicle without valid inspection and driving a motorcycle without eye protection, filed July 31.
