Ewasko, Hollis
Auburn, Ala., residents Elizabeth Ewasko and Joseph Hollis were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. July 7 at Moore's Mill Country Club in Auburn. The Rev. Everett Thomas officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Barbara Smith of Tallapoosa, Ga., and the granddaughter of Elizabeth Staaf of Butler and the late, Kermit Staaf. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Carole Hollis of Florence, Ala.
The bride was presented for marriage by her brother, Matthew Ewasko
Serving as a bridesmaid was the bride's stepsister Laura Smith.
Serving his son as best man was Joseph Hollis of Florence.
The bride graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a degree in English. She has been accepted to the graduate program at Auburn for the fall term. While pursuing her graduate degree, she will serve as a graduate teaching assistant in English.
The bridegroom graduated in 2005 with an undergraduate degree and in 2007 with a master's degree, also from Auburn University. He is currently pursuing a second master's degree at Auburn, where he serves as a graduate assistant football coach for offense.
The couple is making their home in Auburn.
