Joseph and Nancy Vidmar

Joseph and Nancy Vidmar of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a trip to Ocean City, Md., given by their daughter.

The former Nancy McClafferty married Vidmar on Aug. 17, 1957, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have a daughter, Deborah Vidmar of Silver Spring, Md.

Vidmar is retired from CUECO in Butler, where he worked as a plant engineer.

Mrs. Vidmar is retired from Sunnyview Home, where she worked as a nurse.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
