Parnell

Pearl Parnell of Saxonburg will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Saxonburg VFW, Dinnerbell Road, Saxonburg.

The former Pearl Neubert was born Nov. 3, 1917, in Jefferson Township. She married Kenneth Biehl in 1941. Biehl died in 1946. In 1957, she married Albert Fox, who died in 1983. She married Thomas Parnell in 1986. He died in 2002.

She has a son, K. Robert Biehl of Boise, Idaho, and a stepson, Kent Fox of Freeport. Another stepson, William Fox, is deceased.

Mrs. Parnell is a homemaker and is retired from Fox Funeral Home in Saxonburg.

She belongs to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg and is a charter member of the Saxonburg Ladies Auxiliary 7376.
