Collins 90th birthday
Mildred Collins of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a family dinner and open house at the social hall of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
The former Mildred Beneigh was born June 12, 1917, in Butler. She married Albert Collins on Oct. 10, 1936. He is deceased.
She has six children, Judy Weiland and Larry Collins, both of Butler; Patty Collins of Chicora; Diane Winrader of Slippery Rock; Darlene Kaskie of Cripple Creek, Colo.; and Tom Collins of Florida. Three children, Kay Steele, Janice Scialabba and Robert Collins, are deceased.
She also has 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Collins is a homemaker.
She is a member of St. Peter, the Tuesday Morning Bowling League and the Phase II group at St. Peter.
