Very good post 'AS'. You set the record straight on Renay. I was beginning to believe she may be a teacher and is used to correcting her students all the time. I was going to say, "we're not your kids, Renay". It's true as you wrote, "AS" that according to Renay everyone should adopt the philosophy to be nice and kind all the time and let anyone say anything they want without so much as a reply!

Back on June 5th Lorie of VA posted a web letter with the exact same title that Renay posted "Grow up!" were she also used similar comments such as 'tossing insults at each other' and 'bickering'.

Ladies (Renay & Lorie) you need to get out more and check the Internet. For example, check out Kittanning.com and other web board sites if you want to see some real bickering and insults and actual cussing at each other! I have been on this site since 1998 shortly after it was initiated. This is a kitty cat place, like a little kindergarten, so to speak, in terms of verbiage.

I can quote many examples of posts on this Eagle Web page of folks simply spewing gossip, mainly because they are excited about the subject they are writing about and don't bother to check the facts first. Some examples are: Butler Fair prices, speeding tickets/license suspension, Amish puppy mills, I-79 markers, etc. etc.

The only thing I would request is to get the facts straight first and simply take a few minutes extra and do it right the first time, instead of always going back to correct. That is why sometimes other posters get upset at folks for giving incorrect information.

This web section is not bad, but I'd like to see an actual web board for the Butler area that posts 24/7 instead of once per day.
