Stauffer, Horzempa

Jessica and Matt Horzempa

Jessica Stauffer and Matt Horzempa, both of Washington, Pa., were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 16 at St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople. The Rev. Jim Bertoti officiated. A reception followed at the Zelienople American Legion.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Beth Stauffer of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Joe and Mary Horzempa of Monaca.

The maid of honor was Sarah Hennessey. Bridesmaids included Liz Horzempa of Monroeville; Shala McNany of Butler; Jaclynn Scheboth of Madison, Wis.; Adrienne Lehatsky of Canfield, Ohio; and Jessica Begovich of Elkton, Md. The junior bridesmaid was Mary Kate Horzempa of Monaca.

Performing the duties of best man was Joe Horzempa of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Todd Stauffer of Butler; Fred Burazer of Cortland, Ohio; Chris Stanton of Greenville, N.C.; Joe Clark of Logan County, W.Va.; and Matt Rudolph of Richmond, Va. The junior groomsman was Eric Stauffer of Connoquenessing.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2006 graduate of the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. She works for Ohio County Schools in Wheeling, W.Va.

The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Monaca High School and in 2003 from the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. He works for Belle Vernon Schools in Belle Vernon.

Following a honeymoon trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia, the couple is making their home in Washington.
