Helen M. Russell

Helen Marie Russell, 80, of Worthington, formerly of Butler, died at 5:45 a.m. Friday at Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington.

Born March 31, 1927, in Washington, she was the daughter of Frank and Clara Wrobel Drapela.

She was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Church.

She was a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital for 13 years and previously at St. Vincent's Health Center in Erie for 10 years.

Mrs. Russell enjoyed boating and fishing.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Wilfred (Kathleen) Balentine of Butler; three sons, John Russell of Clearwater, Fla., Donald Russell of Erie and Joseph Russell of Butler; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. John (Jane) Vanerri of Connellsville, Mrs. Frank (Alice) Harkiewicz of Etna, Mrs. Jim (Lillian) Beacon of Tarentum, and Mrs. Will(Nancy) Gaiser of Butler; and two brothers, Lawrence Drapela of Cheswick and Bill Drapela of Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

<B>RUSSELL — </B>Friends of Helen Marie Russell, who died Friday, July 6, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>young funeral home,</B> Butler. Blessing services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel J. Maurer officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
