Ken Cherry, a fifth-grade teacher at McQuistion Elementary School, has been named to Who's Who Among American Teachers and Educators for 2006-2007.Cherry, employed as an educator for 33 years, has been named to the listing twice in the past.———

The Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau has announced the winners of its 2007 Photo Contest.The winning photo, taken of a group of goats, was captured by <B>Lisa Taylor </B>of East Brady.<B>John Labreque</B> of Cabot won second-place honors with his shot of fog over a Butler County field. An interior photo of the Sample School taken by <B>Arlene Conley</B> of Cranberry Township earned third place.The fourth annual contest attracted 108 entries from 44 photographers. All entries will be displayed at The Regatta at Lake Arthur on Saturday and Sunday and are viewable at www.visitbutlercounty.com.———

</B>Passavant Memorial Homes Foundation recently hosted its annual golf outing at Cranberry Highlands Golf Course in Cranberry Township.Twenty-eight teams competed in a scramble format with Aloi Construction from Beaver Falls taking home top honors with a score of 57.A total of $65,000 was raised to benefit the restoration and renovation of the stained glass windows at Fruth Chapel, located at Passavant's Rochester campus.
