BC3 will host 100 robotics educators
BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College will host the Robotics Educators Conference presented by Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Academy Aug 15 to 17 in the Science and Technology Building and Succop Theater on the main campus.
The conference is for teachers and administrators interested in robotics as a tool to teach math, science and technology in their classrooms.
Attendees can try out activities that use LEGO, VEX, and other controllers to teach math and science, share experiences and ideas for implementing robotics in the classroom, learn about new developments in robotics education, find out how to obtain teaching kits and software, and meet more than 100 other robotics educators and experts in the region.
