Maria and James Marburger

Connoquenessing Township residents Maria Capicotto and James Marburger were united in marriage July 7 in a ceremony held on the dock of the pond at the couple's residence. The Rev. Gary Brown officiated. A reception followed at the couple's home.

The bride is the daughter of Sam and Gloria Capicotto of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Bonnie Marburger and James Christy, both of Connoquenessing.

The honor attendant was the bride's sister Carole Ikenberg of Connoquenessing.

Serving his brother as best man was Bruce Marburger of Connoquenessing.

The bride is a 1986 graduate of Butler High School and attended the Butler County Vocational-Technical School. She works as a stylist at Mastercuts in Center Township.

The bridegroom graduated in 1981 from Butler High School. He is the senior director of Profit Technologies in Huntersville, N.C., and is the owner and chief executive officer of J. Marburger Enterprises.

Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Connoquenessing Twp.
