EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:

Charles James Sberna, 49, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged June 25 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with no rear lights.

Thomas E. Birkenstock, 43, of Verona waived his case to court. He was charged May 23 by the Evans City police with driving under the influence of alcohol, vehicle registration suspended and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Amanda K. Novak, 19, of Cranberry Township waived her case to court. She was charged June 21 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, purchasing alcohol by a minor, minors prohibited with operating a vehicle with any alcohol in system and failure to notice police of accident.

Leo W. Hitchcock Jr., 43, of James City, Pa., waived his case to court. He was charged July 14 by the Adams Township police with harassment and simple assault.
