Stern

Dorothy Stern of Butler celebrated her 95th birthday recently.

The former Dorothy Beck was born July 17, 1912, in Butler. She married John Stern. He is deceased.

She has three children, John Stern of Philadelphia, Mary Pacoe of Pittsburgh and Bob Stern of Hershey. Adaughter, Betty Jameson, is deceased.

She also has eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Stern is retired. She is a life member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

In 1998, she was named Pennsylvania's Mother of the Year. Stern and her husband founded Keystone Electrical Supply in 1948.
