Larry and Betty Groger

Larry and Betty Groger of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family dinner.

The former Betty Lauderman married Groger on July 19, 1947, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Conneautville.

They have three children, Julia Schmeider and Janet Mooney, both of Butler, and Joan Wilson of West Sunbury.

They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Groger is retired from the B&LE Railroad, where he worked as a communications maintainer.

Mrs. Groger is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
